Hisaka Plate Type Evaporator (LEP Series) is a high-performance concentration system utilizing a membrane flow system. The stock solution, pre-heated and fed into the evaporator, is self-evaporated by the temperature difference inside the equipment. It is instantly heated and evaporated at the plate surface. The circulation of considerable capacity liquid increases flow speed, making scale difficult to adhere to the plate surface.
High flow velocity and uniform liquid distribution ensure that scale is difficult to adhere to the heating surface. This maintains consistent heat transfer performance and reduces cleaning frequency.
Heat transfer performance is 3 to 5 times higher than conventional multi-tube type evaporators. This allows for more compact equipment and higher efficiency.
Liquid contacts the heat transfer surface for only about 2 seconds. This ultra-short exposure makes it highly suitable for heat-sensitive liquids, preserving quality and nutrients.
Adopts a circulation system to cope with changes in the stock solution concentration. This allows flexible operation and stable concentration control.
Easy to disassemble for cleaning plates and inspecting surfaces. The modular design allows increasing or decreasing the number of plates to adjust capacity as production needs change.
Single-button operation from start-up to cleaning. Automated control ensures consistent performance and reduces operator workload.
Stainless steel and titanium are available for plate material, allowing selection based on product corrosiveness and purity requirements.
The LEP operates through a continuous circulation membrane flow process:
Raw product is pre-heated using recovered vapor or steam before entering the evaporator body.
Product enters the evaporator and self-evaporates due to the temperature difference. Instant heating occurs at the plate surface.
A circulation pump maintains high liquid velocity across the plates, preventing scale adhesion and ensuring uniform heat transfer.
Mixture enters the separator. Vapor is drawn off for recovery or condensation; concentrated liquid returns to circulation or is collected.
Product reaches the desired Brix level. The circulation system automatically adjusts to maintain stable concentration.
Concentrated product is collected. Automated CIP cleaning starts with a single button press.
Hisaka LEP Series is widely used across food, fermentation, chemical, and industrial wastewater treatment:
Milk, soy protein, liquid sugar, sucrose, isomerized sugar, glucose, starch syrup, various soup solutions, fish juice, and high-concentration food wastewater.
Alcohol distillation wastewater, various fermentation wastewaters, and organic acid aqueous solutions.
Caustic soda, glutamate soda, and high-concentrated industrial drainage requiring corrosion-resistant materials.
Mercerized wastewater recovery, hair washing wastewater, dyeing wastewater, SP-SCP valve waste water, and pulp fermentation wastewater.
Water-soluble waste oil, plating wastewater, and animal-plant fat oil wastewater treatment.
Products requiring minimal thermal exposure (2-second contact time) to preserve quality and活性.
3-5x higher heat transfer performance than multi-tube types. Compact design saves space and energy.
High mass velocity and uniform distribution prevent scale adhesion, ensuring stable long-term operation.
Only 2 seconds of heat contact time. Ideal for heat-sensitive products that degrade easily.
Single-button operation from start-up to CIP cleaning. Reduces labor and ensures consistent quality.
